Ward is a little undersized, but he's tough enough to anchor the secondary. Taking pressure of being a top cover man on the team will enhance what they get out of Richard Sherman coming back from injury.

Greasy fast speed, razor sharp instincts. Tough to pass up.

The ravens will polish up this penetrating DT and have a potent weapon in the middle of their defense.
17 L.A. Chargers Leighton Vander Esch, LB Boise State
The chargers need LB help to go with their potent d-line.

A lot of people are projecting a center here. It would fill a big need, but word is they like all three of the top three guys. Do we think all three will be gone between 21 and 46? Use some of those treasured compensatory picks to move up a little at the start of day 2 if you need to, but Williams gives you a backup plan at tackle if Glenn or Fisher don't work out and potentially an upgrade at right guard. Plus, they might still get the center in round 2.
22 Buffalo James Daniels, C Iowa Buffalo has lost their center, guard, and tackle of the left side of their line to trade and retirement. If they don't use this pick to move up inside the top 10, they go interior O-line here.
23 New England Marcus Davenport, DE UTSA This feels like the Chandler Jones pick from a few years ago. Unpolished pass rusher goes to New England in the mid 20's.
